A trooper!!!

Kalista rides the bus to school every morning. The bus comes about 7:30 which may not seem very early, but after breakfast and everything that has to be done it doesn't give us much time. I came up with a very brilliant plan tonight and put her hair up in rollers to save us a little more time. BAD idea, she couldn't even lay her head down they stuck out so far. She is such a trooper and found a way. I'll keep you posted. Hopefully it will turn out, and her sore neck won't be for nothing. (hopefully she doesn't wake up in the middle of the night for me to take them out.)

Keatons first day of Head Start

I am not sure if we were taking pictures for the first day of school today or a photo shoot but either way I got a few pictures. Keaton had his first day of Head Start today and was very excited to ride the bus. Sometimes I think that is the only reason he wants to go, I guess as long as he goes rite. He wanted to pose for all of his pictures, and he thought Kambrie neede to be in the majority of them. Because he was being silly she thought she would try to do the same things as him but with absolutly no expressions. She is really going to miss having him to play with and wrestle with all day.

Baking 101

My mom and I decided to try a new recipe, and make pretzels, it was allot of fun and a good laugh. Keaton thought that playing in the flour was the funnest part of it all, maybe because I wouldn't let him put the dough on his head and then still use it. All in all I think that the project turned out pretty well. They even tasted pretty good.

Taking too long

Kalista was helping me blogg and I am still a little slow because I don't update much but I didn't think I was that slow.

Look what I learned

Kambrie has decided her slide is allot of fun. First she would just climb the stairs, then she got a little braver and decided to take the plunge, then she sent her bus down and for some reason it sparked something. Head first is what she did next. I'm not sure if she will ever go feet first again she had so much fun.

Cookies

Keaton and I decided to make a batch of cookies today. He was great!! I think between both of the kids, and Jeff we were a few cookies short, but the dough is the best part. He didn't even make too big of a mess, what you see was about it.

The next Tony Hawke

Keaton has been practicing his skateboarding. He is pretty good, its a little funny to watch, but very cute. He has been trying to develop some lingo, and bless his heart it is NOT working for him, and I'm not much help because I have no idea how skateboarders talk.
I thought I would be smart the other day and try to show him a few things (how hard could it be?) let me tell you its a whole lot harder than it looks!!!!

Labor Day (just too much)

We decided that we would make one more little weekend getaway befor there was absolutly no more time. We headed to Bozeman and got a hotel for a night to let the kids swim, and take them to finish up school cloths shopping. We swam the night we got there, and then got up very early the next morning to catch breakfast and one more swim befor checking out. (how is it they can get up very early to swim but not for school?) When we got back to the room I got the baby bathed and dressed rite away sat her down, turned around, and then looked back. She was completely out for the count.

Hanna Montana Exclusive!!!

Kalista is going to a birthday party this weekend. The theme is a rock star theme, and you are supposed to come dressed as your favorite rock star. Kalista picked Hanna Montana. We had allot of fun trying to figure out what to use, we finally decided that we would be Hanna on a casual day. We got a wig, and glued some diamonds onto a pair of purple high heals, (witch might I add she is very good at walking in.) some big jewelry, and of course the belt. I thought we pulled it off pretty well, and we had a blast doing it.(I think her favorite part was the pictures)
