1st Grade

Kalista had her first day school on the 27th. 1st grade already, they arn't kidding when they say time flys. We had gone school shopping a few days before and she picked her school cloths. After much thought she decided on her new tennies and her favorite stripped under shirt, and to my surprise she wanted pig tails. She was so excited to go back and see all of her friends. She really can not wait to be able to ride the bus to and from school. (all of her little friend ride the same bus.)

Speeder

Keaton has taught himself to ride a bike without training wheels. He is getting pretty fast. He makes me a little nervous sometimes because he loves to swerve allot!!!! But he does a great job! He likes us to call him speeder now!!!

Definition of MONSTER!!!!

You can not let this little smile fool you! She is into everything rite now and has also learned to open doors!!! I went in to check on Keaton and find Kambrie and as I walked around the corner there she was climbing rite into the bath cloths and all. I pulled her out wrapped her up and went to get another towel to clean up the mess, (stupid me left her in there for that brief moment) came back to get her and there she was again in the tub. You think I would have learned from the first time, but just the other day she did the same thing again. (They don't make child locks for the type of door handles we have either.)
Kambrie has definantly kept me on my toes, but she always knows how to make us smile!

Kalista took an Irish Dance class this summer and did great. They got to perform at the AnRi Ra Festival that comes to Butte every year. I was so proud of her. I am a little upset I have the whole thing on the video camera but I am not able to post them on the Blog. As soon as I can get it figured out I will post it. But these pictures will have to do . She loved her hair big and curly. It took us about an hour to do, the picture with the bandana was me trying to keep it from getting to messed up while she slept. It didn't work well and we had to completely redo it in the morning. (bummer!!)

Kalista is our Dare Devil. At the Kids day they had a motorcycle track an people there to help the little ones ride. She jumped right up there like she knew exactly what she was doing. We watched Moto Cross later that day and you will never belive what she thinks she wants to do now. Thats right I definantly said NO WAY!!!!!

Kids Day

We took the kids to a little kids day uptown, They got to practice Fly Fishing, Keaton even got a Fly, and Kalista did really well at the Hula Hoops, They had a Huge jumping castle and everything.

Our Family Vacation

We Decided that we needed a little family vacation this summer so we met up with family and went camping for a few nights, and had a blast!! (will explain a little more with pictures) After camping we decided that we were just not tired enough so we went to see Arron and Kristin. They both graduated from BYU Idaho, that weekend. We did some shopping, Caught a movie, And hit the water park. That is all the kids talk about when we head down that way. Keatons favorite part about the water park this time was sun bathing on the sidewalk, but he did go down the slide a few times. Kalista is becoming a pro at the monkey bars. Kambrie got to feed the ducks for the first time, and thought that was pretty neat. We all had a great time and it was actually relaxing beleave it or not, but its always good to get home. Our First REAL Camping Trip

Our first real camping trip and we all survived. (I think I mainly mean me!!!)

We actually slept in tents and sleeping bags, and to my amazement I slept better there than I did when we got back to a real bed. The kids loved being out where they could just run and play and get completly dirty. I didn't see much of my husband but I knew exactly where to find him. Always on the Jet Skis!!! Kalista has no fear, she loved the tube, and if moms heart would of handled it she would have gone alot faster. Keaton not so much, he takes after his mother. (thats just fine with me!!!!) He did like the boat though. I think his favorite was just playing in the water by the dock. Kambrie wasn't so sure about everything at first but she did like the dirt, and trying to dround herself a few times, She had no idea how to keep her head up above the water when her feet didn't touch the ground and of course she had to do it herself (Miss Independant!!)

Insane?

This was one of my busiest days of this whole summer. I decided to watch about 10 kids for a few hours. I have to actually say it went well, but its a very good thing that we have a yard.

Our family fishin trip

We took the kids on a little family fishing trip at Homestake lake. We didn't have much luck catching anything but we had a ton of fun. Keaton won a Lightning Mcween fishing pole. He was the happiest little boy in the world!!!
